Professional Artist Stewart Beckett has featured on Sky Arts Landscape artist of the year and Portrait Artist of the year. Winner of Stride Open and now a resident Artist @ the Arches Southampton. He teaches classes in Fareham and Whiteley, in Watercolour, Acrylics and Oils. 

He describes his work as ‘An echo of a bygone era’ practising drawing and painting techniques based on traditional methods. He has an experimental attitude and a passion for materials. Currently working on a series that aims to combine the abstract with his realist works. Influenced by Gustav Klimt, Sir John Everett Millais, and Anderson Zorn. He aims to use modern materials such as Acrylics, silicone, mirror, PVA glue and resins to embody his figurative, portrait oil paintings.
